Van Gogh is one of my most favorite of artists...I love pretty much all of his work, but...Starry Night is probably my favorite....a long time ago, i lived in atlanta and the High Museum had a VanGogh exhibition...I went so many times the guards knew me by name!! I would just go...and sit in front of the pieces...and just be. BY the way....I also like Don McLean' song of the same title....
On our trip to Boston and NYC last fall, it was this Van Gogh painting at MOMA in NYC that was my favorite. Do you have a favorite Van Gogh painting?

Starry night. I love MOMA and NYC. Have been 3 times. Wonderful city.
I adore Van Gogh...I love them all but if I have to choose, my favorites are the series he did of the olive groves. I love trees.
Cheryl - agree...there's just something special about the Olive Trees paintings.
