See this film - At the Death House Door

"At the Death House Door" is an IFC original documentary following Carroll Pickett's 16 year transformation from prison chaplain in Huntsville, Texas to outspoken anti-death penalty crusader. Outstanding example of the power of documentary filmmaking in supporting social justice advocacy.

Kathleen, Did you see "Hoop Dreams?" This is another documentary by the same filmmakers. Very well made.

Yes, I did see Hoop Dreams. I always want it to end differently since I am sad for the young man who ended up with the baby at such a young age and never realize his"hoop dreams".
