In Gretchen Rubin's "The Happiness Project" during her discussion of the responses she received to her Twelve Commandments, I really liked that someone shared one of their own: Notice the color purple.
The color purple is beautiful in nature. I noticed small purple violets in New Jersey recently. Gorgeous.
Purple is also beautiful when applied to front doors. We painted ours a very deep plum a few months ago and I am always so pleased when I pull into my driveway.

There are so many beautiful shades of purple. Would love to see a photo of your front door. Is that weird?
I always notice purple. It is one of my favorite colors!
My purple cone flowers are always covered with those little moths too. I adore purple flowers, but don't really care for the color anywhere else.
