National Poetry Month kicks off today. This means you can sign up to receive a poem via email every day during the month of April. Just go to poets.org. Easy peasy.
What makes Existence really nice Is Virtue -- with a dash of Vice.

Or this:
Melon Head My best friend is a melon head, and when it's time to snack instead of munching on some cheese or toast, his favorite snack he likes the most is chunks of melon, piled on bread. He gets the melon from his head. I fear that it's become a drain on his forever shrinking brain.
I am definitely going to sign up...what fun!! and now...after reading the comments here, I have the desire for some Shel Silverstein...he's always good for a giggle!!
Please don't hate me for doing this...I volunteered you to deal with a virtual easter basket. Go to my blog and grab it for your blog and do what I did, please? It raises money for the children's miracle network which I think provides chocolate for me. Pls!!! No, it raises 10 bucks per blog that participates for this charity. Thanks! You have until April 4th.

Willy with a thirst for gore
Nailed his sister to the door
Mother said with humor, quaint
Willie dear, don't scratch the paint

I just signed up! (And got a chuckle out of POD's contribution...that rascal.)
Hey! Let's make this into a poetry slam!
Brie Boy
Brie Boy had a dream he had only had twice,
that his full, round head was only a slice.
The other children never let Brie Boy play ...
... but at least he went well with a nice Chardonnay.

You're killing me!!!
Okay, then...how's this?
