Saw this film last week. It's a good film with an amazing performance by Jeff Bridges. I thought the romance between Bridges's character and Maggie Gyllenhaal's much younger and together character, far-fetched. While that seemingly implausible relationship was at the center of the film, my discomfort was abated by Robert Duvall in a supporting role. I loved the scene of Bridges and Duvall out on a boat drowning worms.
Jeff Bridges will win the Oscar with this performance. (Or else I'll sulk.)

Seen it....good movie
I hope to see - is it on video yet? listen to me - I mean ON DVD yet? I am so out of it this year. I do love the Oscars....
Nope, it's not on DVD yet. I admit, I'm too interested in the Oscars. Even as a wee lass I was mesmerized by the Oscars and wanted to see every film nominated for Best Picture. And, I might add much to my embarrassment, get upset when my favorite actress or actor didn't win.
i do so love jeff bridges and canNOT wait for this movie. but, will probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see...i don't really this one coming to the theaters here. dangit.

I have been hearing such great things about it and saw a good piece about Bridges on Sunday Morning on CBS this morning...I have to check this out.
