innie or outie?

Where is your favorite spot to read?

BTW - Any of these books in your TBR stack:

Making Toast: A Family Story by Roger Rosenblatt & Brooklyn by Colm Toibin are on my figurative nightstand.

In the winter: Inside. Next to the fire, under a blanket with a cup of coffee.

In the summer: Outside. On my back patio with a cup of coffee.

Back to the fireside I go...

Alison, I see coffee plays a significant role in good spots for reading. Is that iced coffee in summer?

I'm with you, seasons make a big difference. I don't think I ever read indoors (except airports/planes) once it's nice out.

If it's winter I have to go for the cafe in a book store. That way I can wonder around and look at books if I want a short break from reading.

In the summer it's by the pool, or sometimes even IN the pool! I can't wait for summer!

I liked your poll! I've seen many of them, but still want to see more. An Education was my favorite!

Julie, Thanks for taking the poll. I plan to watch The Hurt Locker tonight since Netflix has finally, FINALLY sent it to us. I still want to see A Serious Man too. I really liked An Education. I hope the actress (forgetting her name) nominated for Best Actress wins it.

Oh, how I love poolside reading with iced green tea by my side.

Mostly inside. The outside is always either too hot or too cold. I'm pretty picky :)
