Monday Movies - Rated NSP

Feature Presentation...
MONDAY MOVIE MEME

Molly of the Bumbles blog asks what are movies you would never want to watch while with your parents.

I can only think of three films that are rated Not Suitable for Parents, although I'm sure there are more:
  • The Cook The Thief His Wife & Her Lover
  • Eyes Wide Shut (with or without my parents, I regret seeing this film)
  • Henry and June

Hmmm - I have not seen the first or last one - sadly I too have seen Eyes Wide Shut - hated it. How did you like the others? I remember both titles when they came out - I think I might like the Cook/Thief one. Thanks for playing this week!

I really liked "The Cook..." when I saw it years ago. I don't remember much about "Henry and June" except Uma is in it and it's set in Paris. If I had watched it with my parents I'd probably have vivid memories of the film. =^..^=

Thanks for stopping by my blog to enter the contest!

I'm in agreement with you on "Eyes wide shut" what was that movie all about anyway.

I had the unpleasant experience when I was 15 years old of being at my boyfriends house watching "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" with my boyfriend and his parents right when the bathroom scene came on, he was doing the deed to images of Phoebe Cates. Oh my gosh...mortified. Need I say more?

Oh gawd, yes, I could add "Fast Times" to my list. I would not have wanted to watch that film with my parents or anyone else's back in the day. Funny now...maybe not so funny then.

Thanks for stopping by.

Yep...those are ones I would NEVER want to watch with my parents.

One I did accidentally watch with my parents that I wish I hadn't was "Cat People." I misread "erotic" as "exotic." I just about died. I was so embarrassed I had to turn it off.

And I would never want them to know I saw "Caligula" in college with some of my friends. Nor would I want to watch that with them. Nor would I want to watch that movie ever again.

I love "The Cook..."! Unfortunately, can't find it on DVD.

I didn't play this meme this week because I find I'm uncomfortable watching MOST movies with my parents around...
